What is the most beautiful thing you have ever witnessed E.G a show of heroism love ,trust,or a special moment that really moved you.

For me it would have to be attending the birth of my Nephew Louis and then my Son Alasdair, those were special indeed.

But 3 months ago Ardeth & I were almost moved to tears when my brother Alistair took his 1st shaky steps after spinal surgery.

We had been warned "he may not walk again and to prepare ourselves for the worst" however as it turned out the damage wasn't as bad as expected and that moment when Ally stood up and walked towards me was 1 of the most beautiful moments of my life.To hear his feet making contact with the floor as the frame moved with each step, just left me speechless.

Wow you named your son Alasdair!? I love that name, I always envy the people who can get away with such cool names like that. hehe
Hmmm most beautiful things. I think it'd have to be when I went to a cello recital and experienced the passion that the performers were displaying, I was just sort of in awe the rest of the day at the depth that art can reach in people. Or maybe when my friend had her baby and we saw it growing, first inside her and then after it was born, it was really amazing. Puts a lot of things in perspective

Actually after that one I went to another performance by this group that did period music from around the 1500's. I thought it would be dreadful but it was extremely Celtic flavored and I loved it!! I wish I could go to more of these, we actually had an orchestra from Poland I think performing here recently.. But finding people to go with me is rather hard.
Good luck with everything, TS

It becomes addictive once you fall in love with classical music it never leaves you.

maybe you should put an advert in your local paper or radio station, asking for classical music lovers to accompany you to the gigs .
good luck also
Alex.

the most beautiful thing I've done is when I held my little niece an hour after she was born. She drives me nuts sometimes, but then she was so small, so helpless, so beautiful. My sister can keep her though, lol I am never having kids!

LOL! That's what we said so watch out fate may decide otherwise.

I still remember holding the boys for the 1st time and the way they squirmed their skin felt like a combination of silk & velvet.

I would have to say that two of the most beautiful moments i have ever experienced is when I was pregnant and gave birth to my little girl, and when I attended my friend Jamie's birth when she had her daughter Hayley.
Another beutuful moment, I would have to say, was when I realized that there really is someone out there who can love me, and feel just as much passion for me, as i feel for them, and that there is such a thing as a spiritual bond, and a very close friendship, even in a relationship.

Lololol! I'm never having kids either. They drive me nuts! :P My niece means the world to me, and probably always will, but as for me having my own kids, nopers :P Anyway, I think I've gotten off of topic here after reading through all of that, so the one beautiful thing that has ever happened to me would probably be my closeness with God and how it all began :)

If i had knoene what I know now five years ago, and had not had a child, I would say I'm never having kids. However, I can't say that now because it's too late. i already had one!
It was, and is, and can be a beautiful experience, but it can also be very draining, exhausting at times, at very, frustrating. It can also be rewarding. But right now i'm tired and can't think of too many positives, but when I do i'll post them.
i miss the days when she was a baby. Now, that was a truly beautiful and awesome experience. AAnd, then she grew up. Na, JK. She's still a very sweet, carming, adorable child at times, when she wants to be, and at others, a holy terror, and a royal chronic, pain in my ars. Rofl.
See ya!
